Obscanity: You'll know it when you see it

If you haven’t already heard Lily Allen’s CD, “Alright, Still,” where have you been???

When I first heard Lily Allen on NPR, I thought her song had a peppy, catchy melody. After a minute I started to catch on – she’s a pop princess, to be sure, but her lyrics are pure smartass. The album features tracks such as “Alfie,” where the narrator pleads with her brother to put the weed down and get up off his ass, and LDN, where Allen shares a side of London that only an urbanite can appreciate.
