Obscanity: You'll know it when you see it

Could somebody please tell Sarah Palin that the vice-presidency is not a final exam that you can just cram for in a couple of months and then suddenly be prepared? The woman never even had a passport until last year – what makes her think an orchestrated meeting actually means anything?
